In this role, you will have responsibility for establishing and maintaining customer relationships while growing market share in a competitive marketplace. BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF REPRESENTATIVE: • Sell pharmaceutical products to specific customer market in and around a Dover, Delaware. • Develop local business plan to increase market share by outlining tactics, activities and resources. • Utilize customer-focused selling techniques to maintain high customer intimacy and customer knowledge of products. • Develop and deliver informative sales presentations based on customer needs. Knowledgeable and selling with integrity. • Enforce and follow Commercial Policies and Practices in your daily activities while promoting our products with integrity in the marketplace. • Develop creative sales strategies to reach "hard-to-see" doctors/"hard-to-work" accounts. • Actively seek and display a thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical products, key customers in territory, competitor products and product objectives. • Work collectively with other representatives in arranging speakers, displays and special programs. • Maintain current, approved protocol and promotional materials to be included in sales presentations. • As assigned, make calls on retail pharmacies and other special customers. QUALIFICATIONS: • 4 year BA/BS degree required from an accredited institution • Outside (non-retail) sales experience, i.e., requiring the development of a customer base Documentation of success a plus • Requires a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Demonstrated success in influencing a customer group • Experience developing and sustaining a customer base Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Territory: Travel: 10-20% Contact InformationDanyell HickeySales Consultants of Baltimore City dhickey@salesconsultants.org
